Our first installment of Cool Comics has been a raging success, and we couldn’t be happier with the response we’ve received from our community. The project burned 187,000,000 $MILK, and gave us an outlet to bring the lore to life. But we’re not done yet, there’s so much more to come.
Here’s what’s on the way…
Airdrops
We posted an article yesterday about the 100 Comics that we airdropped to Pet-only holders. But the mathematicians amongst us will have worked out that 25 Comics are still unaccounted for.
20 of those were given away to the Cool Cats team as a ‘thank you’ for their hard work on the launch, with the remaining 5 to be withheld for future giveaways. So, keep an eye out for further chances to get your paws on a Cool Comic.
Video Reveal
As you’re reading this, the animated Comic is live on our Youtube channel. We’re excited to open a door to more animated content, and expand the utility we’re offering our dedicated holders.

Final Rarities
Offering rarity to the Cool Comics adds longevity itself because, combined with some of our other rarity-backed utility, it gives our holders something to aim for. It also helps us to adequately display the range of artistic talent within the Cool Cats team.
The final rarities from the contract ended up being as follows:
You will notice that only 2,464 comics were minted. 36 comics did not complete Stage 2 of the final minting process. These comics will NOT be minted and the final comic mint count is 2,464.
Of the mints that were missed, two were Wild, two were classy and one was an Exotic!
Physical Claims
As a reminder, you will be able to claim the physical version of your Comic starting the first week of October. To reiterate, the physical claim WILL match the rarity of the Comic that you have in your wallet. Claiming the physical will NOT burn your NFT, rather the metadata field for “claimed status” will be automatically updated after finalizing your order. The physical claim will be free, and you will only have to pay for shipping. We have worked hard to bring the costs down as much as possible.
Cool 1, Cool 2, Wild and Classy physicals will all ship the same with bend-proof packaging and be presented as a typical comic would. Exotic physicals will be shipped separate from the other comics — they will be coming to you graded/encapsulated by CGC (Certified Guaranty Company). PLEASE make sure you claim these and take good care of them!
If you hold more than one Comic and want to claim physical copies for each, you will have to do so separately. We know this isn’t ideal, but there are a number of things in the way of us doing this any differently. Although you will incur a shipping cost during each transaction, we will be shipping the Comics together and will therefore issue partial refunds accordingly.
Once you are done claiming your Comics, we have set up a form for you to fill out in order to claim this partial refund, which will be accessible when you submit your physical claims.
Additional Content
The physical Cool Comics shouldn’t just be taken at face value, either, because they come with some pretty cool added extras.
As you flick through the Comic pages you’ll find some rich lore, exciting activities, and maybe a pinch of alpha… But you’ll have to find that out for yourself.
Signed Copies
As an added bonus, all holders will have a chance of receiving a signed copy of the comic. There will be ten Cool 1, five Cool 2, five Wild, five Classy, and five Exotic comics signed by Clon himself! The winners will be selected by a random number generator and sent out as separate packages.
Winners will be announced before shipping so keep an eye out, and make sure you claim your physical copy for a chance to win! As for the lucky five Exotics, don’t worry, those will be encapsulated and verified, as well as signed.
Exclusive Merch
We also have a range of merchandise prepared to celebrate the Comics, which will be available soon. This merch drop will contain both token-gated and non-token-gated items, so there’s a great range for you to choose from.
More Comics
As you know, this Cool Comic is only the first installment of the CATaclysm series. We are already working on the second installment, which we’re excited to present to you in the near future.
There is also the series-end burn to look forward to. If you collect all four of the Comics from the CATaclysm series, you’ll get a chance to burn them all in exchange for an exclusive and unrevealed reward. So you’d do well to hold on to your Cool Comics.
